This Defensive Driving Course consists of four (4) hours of live, interactive classroom instruction with both in-person and virtual attendance options. A certificate will be given to young drivers (age 14- to 17-years) in attendance only if we receive evidence that the student received a traffic ticket and/or had been mandated by a court to attend the class. A certificate will be given to adult drivers at least 18-years of age in attendance whether attending for personal improvement or due to a requirement by their employer or a judge.

This course is taught by one of our state-approved instructors using our multi-media presentation which includes for each participant a resource packet (paper or electronic) to use during class and to keep for future reference.

This Defensive Driving Course teaches skills that every driver should learn and apply to reduce their risks of being involved in a collision. It also exposes the dangers associated with drivers who over-estimate their driving experience, vehicle's technology, knowledge of traffic laws, and abilities to multitask and under-estimate the potential risks of a moving vehicle to the driver, passengers, and other road users.
